The assessment of the current control of academic performance (assessment of the admission rating) consists of assessments of the current control in classroom and extracurricular classes and assessments of the boundary control. in the current progress control, students' academic achievements are evaluated on a 100-point scale for each completed task (response in current classes, homework, independent work of students (hereinafter referred to as IWS), boundary control) and the final result of the current progress control is summed up by calculating the arithmetic mean sum of all grades received during the academic period.

Midterm control
Midterm control is carried out at least twice during one academic period within the framework of one academic discipline according to the academic calendar. The form of conducting boundary control within each discipline is established by the teacher taking into account its specifics and is reflected in the curriculum of the discipline (Syllabus).

Each academic period ends with an intermediate certification (exam) of students.
Intermediate certification of students is carried out in the form of exams, reports on professional practice, as well as reports on research / experimental research work (for undergraduates and doctoral students) with mandatory assessment and is defined as an examination session.
To carry out the final control by the Registrar's office, the points and grades accumulated by the student during the academic period with an indication of the admission rating are entered in the electronic examination sheet in the AIS "Hero study". The assessment of the admission rating to the intermediate certification (exam) is cumulative in nature and consists of assessments of the current progress control and assessments of the midterm control (2 midterm controls during the academic period).
When conducting an intermediate certification in an academic discipline, the assessment obtained at the exam and the average score of the assessment of the current performance control during the academic period are taken into account.
A student who does not have an admission rating in the discipline is not allowed to the final control in this discipline.
The development of intermediate control questions is carried out by a teacher leading classes in this discipline and is provided to students no later than two weeks before the start of the examination session.
Intermediate control (exam) is carried out in the following forms:
− written exam on tickets;
− testing, including open and closed questions (computer or paper);
− a combined exam that involves 3 types:
1) Written with oral defense of the answer;
2) Project protection: project, presentation, case, business plan, analytical note, consulting report, PR project, writing an article, news report, interview, writing a script, sketches, short film, etc.;
3) Testing that includes open-ended questions that require an oral answer, either solving problems or solving cases.

In case of receiving an "unsatisfactory" grade corresponding to the "FX" mark at the final control (exam), the student has the opportunity to retake the final control without re-passing the discipline program on a paid basis. The cost of retaking the exam with "FX" is equal to the approved cost of 1 credit for the current academic period.
Retakes of the final control with an assessment corresponding to the "FX" mark are allowed during the interim certification period and during the holidays before the start of the next academic period.
In case of receiving an "unsatisfactory" grade corresponding to the "F" mark, the student must re-enroll in this discipline or another discipline in compliance with the principle of their profile and kinship, except for the disciplines of the mandatory component, complete its entire program, complete all tasks, receive admission to the final control in accordance with the established procedure, pass the final control (exam). Re-admission to the academic discipline is carried out only on a fee basis in the next academic period or in the summer semester (but no more than 15 additional credits).

For the period of the examination session (intermediate attestation), by order of the Rector of the University, an appeal commission is created from among teachers whose qualifications correspond to the profile of the disciplines being appealed. A student who does not agree with the result of the final control, submits an application for appeal) no later than the next working day after the announcement of the exam assessment. The Appeal Commission must review the application within 24 hours and make an appropriate decision on the revision of the assessment or the preservation of the originally received assessment.
